Southgate basically tried to defend a 1 - 0 lead for a full half against the best team in a Euro final and unsurprisingly it bit him up the jacksie, hence subs coming on left and right since the goal as panic mode has set in. Should have been more positive as we were in the first 20 minutes of the match. Italy are experts at seeing out these type of games.
