No one is saying it's on him but you can still say he himself didn't turn up when it mattered. Neither did the rest of them and that's why they're out.

Well you can say he wasn't "good" like the rest of the side, but the differential for me is that, usually, Lukaku sticks out like a sore thumb to the extent his side plays with basically 10 men in big games, because he's totally anonymous.

He wasn't tonight, so I can't lay that charge at him, so for me he was an improvement on the usual.

One of their better players second half. Made constant intelligent runs, got into decent positions, just didn't take his chances.
