Is it just me or are English refs incapable of using var quickly? Compared to other var offsides in this tournament, that felt like it took an age

Yeah if you are having to put the name of the team on the kit its probably fair to say that they are failing in making the kit stand out.

The problem for me has always been that a player being millimetres offside is not why we have an offside rule in the first place.

It was brought in to stop blatant goal hanging not to punish players for making good runs.

To be completely fair with that one, it took a few looks to me sure the flick on didn't come off an Italian.
