He is indeed and they do have a very good squad. Bit of a group of death wth France and England in their group

I think everytime I've ever seen a Ref go and look at a penalty decision himself, he's given it.

Who can we look out for matey? Do you watch a lot of Italy/France u21s and youth levels? I think England have a lot of talent in the squad tbf. Italy will have the crowds behind them so that will help.

Italy have got some big names in midfield and attack like Barella, Tonali, Pellegrini, Zaniolo, Chiesa (son of Enrico chiesa), Kean, Cutrone etc

France have Aouar, Upamecano, and others I don’t know too well

I think England’s squad looks quite young. No idea how it compares to other squads in terms of age but there seem to be a fair few 19/20 year olds. I think our midfield has a lot of very good options while defence and attack look a bit weaker

Compare the England defence to:

Amian / Konate / Upamecano / Sarr

Starting RB for Toulouse and thats two starting CBs of Leipzig who are both rated as wunderkinds and another in Sarr who plays for Nice as a LCB/LB and wouldnt look out of place in our team.

I cant see anyone getting past that French defence. Even the subs like ballo toure are club starters...seems like they may go 3 at the back or at least have the capacity to.

Looking further forward Aouar, Guendouzi, Sissoko, Tousart etc etc...

Dembele / Mateta up top

But the key is the defence...3 super defenders there and better than any others in the tournament.
