I like that Carsley has played Gomes at centre mid. Quite rare to see an English coach put such a small and technical player there

I think this team in general will be too attacking for the big sides
Yeh I think Gomes and Jones are good players but you can't rock up with that 2 man midfield against your France's. Need someone more disciplined in there like Garner or Doyle. We do really lack a proper defensive mid at this level though.
