Euro 2012 Finals draw 5pm today

group a is a joke and probably a fix for poland.

England have 3 average teams in their group but we have crap results against them and no goalscorer in the group stage ...
 
Jesus the comparison between the teams the hosts got and the teams Holland and Spain got is a bit startling isn't it?

England, Sweden, France, Greece, Russia and the Czech Republic.

Vs.

Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Ireland and Croatia.
 
Going to our opening game v croatia on 10th june.

Just booked flight into berlin one way on the 8th june. Stay 1 night in berlin then train to poznan on the saturday morning. Worked out at 179 euro, about 100 less than into poznan.
 
Gutted about Ireland's draw tbh. Although I'm English at heart, I'm Irish born (although tbf, my birth was pretty much the only time I spent there) and my whole family is Irish. I remember my Dad, who is an international rugby fan who professes not to caring much about football going nuts when Robbie Keane's equaliser went in against Germany in '02 and him trying to act like it didn't tear him up when Henry cheated and denied them the world cup (I spied him with his head on the kitchen table, gutted, by the radio listening to it, the sly dog). Nothing like the Irish crowd at a major tournament. Brilliant value, makes me want to get tickets.

England's draw is okay. France will be one hell of a curtain raiser. But FFS Sweden AGAIN... FFS. We're ****e against them. God help us if it goes down to a play off against the hosts, like. I reckon it will tbh. It's all going to be about the Irish though and that Croatia game. If they win that, it's on.

Dont be gutted, we are not. When you are 4th seed you have to expect that kind of draw. Bring them on i say, they wont relish playing us either, and we will certainly have a massive majority of fans at all games.

I know, it's just tbh I would be just as excited about Ireland getting to the knockouts as I would England getting to the final. Great that we'll have one of our own there in Seamus too. Gives an "FA cup of old" kind of romance to the tournament. Can't wait for it now.
