I mean, Brexit supporters could clearly see there was no plan and we had the most incompetent government possible to implement such a massive undertaking but still ploughed on regardless.
Folk got so wound up by being proved 'right' they'd cling to any old crap. And here I don't think the remain side helped with all the vitriol, frustrating as it was / is. Just helped entrench positions.
Bojo's shtick of the maverick rule breaker plays right into that narrative of the EU being all about hideous rules and regulations. Sticking it to the Brussels Bureaucracy etc etc. Anyone would think we're a nation of anarchists...

Mate, I promise you, I accepted it we're out years ago - I lost the option of moving to Europe now I work fully-remote. My post didn't suggest otherwise.
To suggest that we will have to wait ten years to enjoy the benefits of Brexit is a big 'ol climb down mate and I suggest that perhaps it is you who isn't facing up to reality.
Current world events Covid will return & Putin's illegal war will drag on - have the EU done anything much about Putin ? USA then us have really supplied them with help......not just sanctions.....
Vote Lib Dem & they will bankrupt our country just to rejoin......
