There was a good article by Max Hastings in the Guardian today, basically saying ‘anyone but Boris’…but he had to admit that Starmer was an empty vessel (I think he got that from me) and the guy who runs the LibDems is basically a competent back bencher but nothing more. He addresses the question that I’ve asked on here many times ‘who would you replace himself with’ but came up with no answer.

It’s a funny situation where the Nordic and Baltic states together with the East European nations and Ukraine all love Boris, but the usual U.K. left leaning pro-EU mob hate him……oh and wine and cheese….

Heffer is 100% wrong - properly organized and effective EU Armed Forces would be a great help now; in fact I'd bet this invasion would not have taken place if such a force existed. Freeing the continent from dependence on the US is in our and in the US's interests.
