yes, and it says what the Independent article said

are you really trying to pretend that UK students and some pensioners being the only ones covered by UK-issued EHIC cards is a win by the way?
No my aim was to show that you said millions of EU citizens will be given new EHIC cards by the UK. All I said is millions of UK pensioners who.probably mostly live in Spain will be given the same cards by the EU. So swings and roundabouts. I did say also that I always get insurance anyway when I go to Europe. So it' makes no difference to.me and probably a lot of other people

You make no sense whatsoever.

No one knows if it will be beneficial or not yet. If it goes pear shaped as a lot of remainers hope we can probably join the EU.
Got it now thanks, a sort of cross your fingers, hope for the best, trust in Johnson, kind of gamble with people’s livelihoods ?

Nope sorry, I’m still not convinced.

Ok.its late. You said you read the article. Does it say UK pensioners living in the EU will receive EHIC cards or not?
Make perfect reading to me!

I think it makes perfect reading to you because you seem not to be able to understand that we all can get UK-issued EHIC cards now, and have them accepted in Europe.

Its being replaced by a system where (at least at the moment) it looks like we can't all get UK-issued EHIC cards now that will be accepted in Europe. The only people who might get them are students and some pensioners; the rest will be relying on the countries they live in.

That you think thats a good thing because you buy insurance says a lot about what sort of person you are, tbf.

Neither remainers or brexit voters know what will happen. It's all guesswork. Yes it is a gamble but no one yet knows the way the dice will roll

I don't think it's a good thing but if it's happening there's nothing I can do. You just have to get on with it.
Correct me if I am wrong but the way I am reading it is only EU residents living in the UK will receive these new EHIC cards ?

Sorry just read your first paragraph. You actually believe that I don't know how EHIC cards work. Wow

If your professional expertise or education tells you something is likely to happen as a result of leaving the EU, it's hardly guesswork if you provide opinion on that matter.

Stating 'i don't know, so none of us have any clue, we're all just guessing' isn't really correct.

There are lots of people on this forum working across lots of impacted businesses, sectors - they aren't guessing when they highlight the consequences of potential outcomes.
