That's the problem isn't it. A good proportion of leave voters will be disappointed. So we're looking at a majority of the country being upset and disappointed. It was always going to be the case when those selling the lies had no accountability for delivering their cloud cuckoo land visions.

It's going to either be a huge concession from the UK - Johnson makes a big play about negotiators deadlock and 'doing it personally' in Brussels and gets a big meaningless gesture from EU so he can proclaim a win

Or

It's no deal.

I'm not sure that anyone actually wanted either outcome from the process. The former is exactly what the UK didn't want and means we've effectively spent 4 years negotiating a diminished relationship with the EU and telling the world we're untrustworthy; and no deal is economically the worst possible outcome for everyone.

Nobody wins. But there will be leave voters who are still too clueless/proud/hate filled to acknowledge it as anything other than a victory.

Going by Pete's logic, the fact that some British people collaborated with the Nazis means you get to say Britain collaborated with the Nazis.
