To be fair Joe, you were the one that initiated talk of non-indigenous people coming here to pollute our precious bodily fluids. You've got to laugh about such things haven't you? I mean it's not like such utter wretched thinking is driving government policy, that would be truly reason for concern.

it’s shameful far right language, we can pretend it isn’t but it Just is .

Brexiters waffle on endless about FISH, despite it only being around 0.1% of our GDP.

They carp on (pun intended) about EU quotas and how we can get the ‘good old days of FISH’ back once we leave.

If you really want to baffle one, just ask them about the cod wars lol.

I quite agree. If there's one thing that's become clear over the past few years, it seems perfectly fine to denigrate large swathes of people, but the worst thing in the world to throw some mud at individuals. This sub-forum is (from my perspective) unmoderated, but it is noted.

You are too narrow-minded Bruce you label people thinking to are clever when your poster is pathetic and shows you up ....

yeah having a Scouse accent like I’ve got is exactly like people using words like indigenous, I can’t help but think and hope You’re better than that

joe I’ve no chip , life has been good to me . Literally so good , better than I could ever have imagined . However unlike you it seems I’m happy to help those less fortunate, I’d rather be less well off and help people who need help , be they ‘indigenous’ or not . Life is about catching people who fall
I you latch on to one word ....and then throw racist around look in the mirror....

The strange thing is, from what I understand, before the UK entered the EU, it seems most of our fishermen chose to ply their trade in Icelandic waters (which kinda annoyed the Icelandic). I also learned the other day that because of little piddly islands scattered around the world, the UK's exclusive economic area is the 5th largest in the world, which begs the question why our fishing entrepreneurs don't bugger off and make hay around the world.

It was your words Joe, not mine. If you didn't actually mean that people whose apparent British heritage stretches back (I think you said) hundreds of years bemoaning the loss/dilution of their culture, then perhaps you could clarify what exactly you did mean. You were asked a few times, so had plenty of opportunity to do that, but seem to have refused to do so.

just over

Is right. The cod wars ended up seeing our deep sea fishing fleet hugely diminished. We now import the majority of the fish we actually eat here, and export the majority of the fish we land.

Yet we’re told we need to leave the EU to get our fish back, whilst we’ve got 5 Scottish families who control about a third of our existing quotas and choose to sell them as a commodity.

The average Joe, has been convinced by the likes of Farage that this industry is a key beneficiary of Brexit. When the reality is that tariffs and adding checks to the supply chain will be damaging to the industry.

Have you watched the programme......it was a great insight to how cultures can mix but I use one word and you twist it against me also that fishing poster you posted with a line through Muslim was pathetic as they have not been mentioned by me today - I am keeping of your thread which you dominate ....
