Interesting to learn that the common market was a Nazi idea, pedalled by their financiers as a safety net for when the War was inevitably lost. Even referred to as the 4th Reich, so I believe.

I think the likeliest scenario is that the industries that they inevitably have to let die, who then turn against them, will be the ones demonised.

They wont be blaming industries. The Hull trawlermen will be blaming the government for letting them down....and black people for being black.
I can't agree. Widdecombe is terrific. She's a cut above anything that either of the front benches has to offer. She is a tremendous debater and very smart. Her age is irrelevant.
I meant the workers in those industries.
