As a former member of the IOH and lecturing in Liverpool technical college on a forum with the late great Geoff Hamilton on peat free growing, and coming from the same college as the great plant finder Roy Lancaster - I shall treat that with the contempt it deserves Google those named they were no duckeggs.........
I was Liverpool parks trained becoming a great propagator, and grower of a very good reputation......moving all over the country to gain promotion to the highest level .....on a great salary too... started on £9.35p in 1973..,,,,,,

I met Geoff once in a venue in Liverpool to give a college past Liverpools cricket ground? Can't remember the name , it was the revolution he was trying to start in peat free growing - Liverpool parks contacted my employer to give a lecture along with Geoff and other experts - he was a great guy fascinated how I had mastered the art of growing nursery plants in peat free own mixture I had concocted to grow 1.4 million per year.....peat free other growers maintained it could not be done.......at that time it Its revolution......nice pic Bruce which weed are you lol![]()
