great in here, all sorts to learn ,some interesting guys posting
only about 6 leavers taking on all everybody else on the forum for over 3000 pages.
this is the place to be, along with, old Everton pic and the youth team thread for me.
It is a great thread. Genuinely my favourite thread on GOT. You never know where it's going to turn to next.

Although I'd also argue that there are only a handful of dedicated 'remainers' posting in here now as well.

Rock Salt Ingestion
This is one of the more common rock salt dangers. Pets have the tendency of licking their paws. Once they step on rock salt, they are likely to lick their paws. In doing so, they directly ingest the compound.
This leads to disorders such as diarrhea, vomiting, seizures, extreme fatigue, unusual drooling and disorientation. Salt burns may also occur in the gastro-intestinal tract. Sodium toxicosis (salt poisoning) is also common among pets that have ingested rock salt.
High salt ingestion is bad for all animals, including humans. If you were stuck on a raft in the Indian Ocean you would have serious problems if you drank the sea water. This is true for all variants of salt. Not sure how this is relevant to the safety classification of salt, which is where you started from.

You studied at Columbia University as well as your COSHH qualifications?

Because it sure looks like you're just googling things. Although not in a considered manner, more just typing 'is salt dangerous' into Google and hoping for the best.
States the best googler in the world knowing sod all about salt.......
When they salt your area roads if it's safe ask the guy for a bag and put it on your food ....

I hear it's deadly to slugs

@Joey66 is this why the EU banned it??? Because of the slugs?
