....Bercow is already the scourge of the Tory’s, i’m delighted if he’s scuppered the May deal. MPs who have voted against it are switching, not because they think it’s a good deal but because of the alternatives. Saying that, I doubt this is over.

If May goes, she must be remembered as one of the worst PMs in history.

If you’ve got any clue what’s going to happen then you’re honestly a better man than me , I’ve absolutely no idea how this is going to play out .

as it stands we are leaving by default on march 29th

at the moment that is the only leagally binding situation.

May can go and ask for a long delay, which the EU would accept, but would the UK ???

that is not what anyone wants... bar the remainers.

she has been consistent ….

in putting herself before the country at every single opportunity

That doesnt make sense. Unless I have missed something. Did they make big changes when they voted on it the second time?
Presumably as the 2nd one was amended it wasn't the same as the first one.

Whatever the technicalites, it wasn't going to be passed without DUP support which would have triggered ERG support as well. So it looks like a long delay will be sought and agreed by the EU until an alternative way of resolving this whole sorry mess is found.

Welcome back.

I don’t want a no deal Brexit I think it’s a potential disaster . I don’t want Mays deal but it’s belter than no deal keep in mind arch Brexiteers like David Davis voted for it and even JRM said he might do if the DUP did but they only will if they get another sack full of cash .i don’t particularly want a second ref and just like the original ref was advisory so was a parliamentary vote saying we wouldn’t go with no deal .JRM who is chair of the ERG who thought the deal was so bad he tried to topple the PM is now talking about prorogation for May and the queen to pass the temporary dissolution of Parliament which would mean when they could then start it again and reconsider the vote again .

Let’s be fair if you can make a happeth of sense of any of that of where we are going , other than to hell in a handcart you’re also a better man than me .

Haha! Apparently, if they close Parliament for a day, then reopen it, they can vote on it cos its a new session. The process actually has a name, Pro something or other.

Prorogation .

The bizarre thing is it seems to be JRM who hated the deal and wanted may out because of it seems to be the one suggesting it . The whole place is mad
