The problem from day one has been that the vast majority of the House of Commons are remainers, most of the cabinet and PM remainers, and they've been trying to stop brexit from the start.

That is not a democracy, 500 remainers out of 650 going against the will of 17m people.

Law was passed that by the 29th if there is no deal we leave without a deal, they need to honour it.

The thing is, had May not called that election in 2017, brexit would have been done and dusted months ago with an NI only backstop. Or had Labour won we would have left with a pointless soft brexit. I genuinely think brexit will still happen and the gov have done everything they can to get it over the line.
