I see it as similar to the conversation I had with my broadband provider today.
I've been with BT for a while, they're ok but the cost keeps creeping up and there has been no related improvement in service. I got a mailshot through the door from vodafone asking me to switch to them, and they offered pretty much the same features that I currently enjoy but with a monthly bill just under half of what I currently pay.
So I called BT and said "Unless you improve your deal, I'm leaving".
BT promptly improved their deal.
THIS is the true value of a "Leave" victory - it gives our government and MEPs far more ammunition to try and effect significant, worthwhile change in the EU by saying "Look, your system is so pants that our electorate want out - fix it sharpish or we'll have to act on the wishes of the British people."
Sadly, many on the remain side don't get it. Or maybe Sadiq Khan has just scared them into doing as he tells them - after his aggressive, hostile display on the TV the other day I can only presume the people of London voted for him under threat of physical violence.
