Don't understand they delaying of the vote. Supposedly it's because May wants to go back to the EU and get them to outline and explain the backstop properly. Now, for weeks she has known the backstop was the issue, so instead of waiting a day before the vote, why didn't she go back to the EU last week, or the week before?
Did this the other week and..... you guessed it......he complained about it.i think its best if we tag him in every single post we make, i for one do not want to upset anyone

Being (very) generous, brinkmanship deals are a trademark of EU negotiators. So perhaps she has played it this way to maximise the chance of a last minute deal on the backstop.
Or not.
But its a narrative not without merit.
Looks like it's this roydo. In her speech she mostly defended the deal she had now, said there has to be a backstop, and said she would ask the EU to give more assurances about the backstop, not about making any changes to it.
