Sweat on what?

This is like refusing a life belt when you are bobbing in the Mersey.
The level of delusion among some people is frightening. They seem to see the whole picture as a diplomatic fight between the Good Old Blighty and Johnny Foreigner in which the loser will be the one that backs down first, instead of understanding that the whole point of the negotiations was to minimise the damage to both parties.

Are you one of those who thinks all we do is sell stuff to the EU?

They sell us more, if I remember correctly we are the 2nd biggest market for Germany cars in the world, and probably Frances number one export market for cars.
No I am one of those whose country has benefited massively from E.U. funding and political support.

The E.U. may not be perfect but every day I see the physical benefits that it has brought me alongside the political stability it has worked to support.

lol

o_O

I have no idea if any of that is true but I will take your word for it.
It was basically we were out of the common fishing and agricultural policy and traded freely in Europe the now EEA, before the stupid Ted Heath paid a fortune to join a bigger Common Market - the in the 1990s treaties were signed without a UK public vote and we became a polictical union with the four freedoms - now we have had that vote remainers are trying to overturn it before we have even left the EU......
Sod the people we know better........your MP my MP etc........
They stated they would honour the outcome of the vote .......we voted to leave not pay a ransom and still be tied to them for inpertuity when they may say we can eventually leave equals the May deal ......
We would be better cheaper staying in as at least under article 50 we should be able to leave not this current deal on the table!

Thats the problem mate. No one was even asked how we should leave. Just the binary moronic option.
The two protagonists cleared off, but it was so important when it became a minority government, either they should have voted May out or done it on a two cross party basis it a dogs dinner I admit that - not Brexit the PM is being so stubborn other deals could have been struck - a temporary Norway deal would be far less expensive, and get a proper negotiated deal done not one foot in or one foot out expensive deal,- that's why it will be voted down......
