It's a joke based upon Joe's comment that the Apprentice is a good reflection of young people.
Yes Bruce 40 years out of datelol
Hard to find in this polictical correctness world!
Come on though, the standard of contestants on the apprentice coming through would never have held a job down in the past!
Asking the to vote on Brexit must have been like sitting the 11 pluslol

It is the case that in every generation there is a situation of differing levels of both physical and intellectial ability. It is a case that not all are geniuses, but some are.

It is NOT the case, as Bruce stated, that all old people are racists. And had he looked into that series correctly (and 'Love thy neighbour', for that matter), it is obvious that it was an utter parody of bigotry and racism, as was prevalent at the time, and is no way indicative that ALL of a certain age, both then and now, were of the same mindset.

Get it now...???
Bruce was making a joke based on the tragic generalisation made by Joe.

No one has ever seriously suggested that all older people are racists, as they’re not.

It was a joke m8, jaysus

Seriously, FLHD, were you in at the start of this thread least year, and have followed it through the months...? If not, then you've missed some 'wonderful' posts in here...
I can’t recall one seriously suggesting that all of our seniors are racists mate. Some defo, as it goes with the territory as they’re from a different era, my old fella is a fully fledged flag waving racist for example. But he’s not reflective of all by any means

You alright friend? You seem rattled

Condescending, Prev. Hilarious! It's you and the others who want us to remain in the EU who are constantly rattled in this thread.

Never mind, eh? Attack is always the best form of defence...

Now, back to my books! (There's a joke in there somewhere...)

Let me give you an analogy, FLHD. And I hope you'll take it as intended with the topic under discussion.

On one of the guitar forums I go on, some have nothing good to say about Gibson guitars - the quality control, the playability, the sound, etc..

Others will say that there are good years for Gibson, and there are bad years (what a load of rubbish!).

As with what we have been discussing, the truth is somewhere inbetween. Sometimes stuff slips through to the shops which should have been properly QCed so as to prevent it. Playability is to an individual's preference, and how one sets up the guitar (I have always set up mine for how I want it to play and sound [I won't go into the complexities of bridge height, pickup height, polepiece height on the pickups, etc]). SOund again is an individual preference. And there is no way a complete year of ANY product is 100% good or 100% bad. There is good and bad stuff in every year.

And so having said that, I freely admit that there will be/have been some who voted out who were racist, and based their vote on that premise alone. But to tar all with the same brush is inherently incorrect, as I hope you will agree. That is all I am trying to say.

I hope the above go some way to clarifying things, with respect of myself, at least.

By the way, I've gigged nothing but Gibsons since 1970! ;)

I'm Irish mate, I don't care tbh. I just notice that you have incredible form for flipping out over the slightest thing, and was wondering where it stemmed from

I don't flip out. I see that others do, and then try to put that exact thing against me. I sit here laughing most of the time at things such as the above lobbed at me.
