There will be another election .
Tories will go with the new man or woman as labour under it present leadership look very weak.

I think you are right on this. Sadly there is no way Labour could win a GE especially given the situation in Scotland with SNP.

Potentially this is the end of the Labour Party, the final nail in the only party that could ever have represented the poor, the sick or the needy.

Why will it " be Boris"?

Shouldn't we have a vote on a new PM, you know like a democracy should allow?

:bye:
The Conservative party will elect a new leader, and there is no competition because who on earth is going to vote for labour any more? I'm cancelling my membership this morning.

Can't wait for this sh!thouse to fall on his sword next...

Admittedly boris hasn't left a child in a pub to my knowledge but he leaves him well behind on gaffes and as you mentioned football he's someone who doesn't know who scored a hat-trick in 66 and you think Boris would take part in solid debate ?

A man of immense privilege who doesn't even really pretend to have a idea of how 99% live .
Thing is though, these gaffes that boris has had, none have ever came as the potential or actual prime minister of the country. Cameron i have never seen have a original idea for at least a decade now that didn't have a blame labour attached to it.

I am more than happy to accept a tory government voted in with a leader who can at least stand on their own two feet rather than one that has literally ridden off the back of the previous government.

Is johnson a better prime minister? Probably not. But if he doesn't start blaming labour every 2 minutes then at least he is a notch up in my eyes.

Boris effectively plotted to get a fellow journalists address for his friend to assault , how can you not be terrified about the prospect of him being PM

Cameron goes down as the worst Prime Minister in British history in my eyes. A man who gambled a nation for his own political ego.
I don't think at any point of casually promising the referendum before having to set a date for it that He thought it would lose. That is what i find amusing about it, it is clear he thought it was a given and therefore could just hold it whenever.
