The key is to not use a detergent when washing it. A simple warm water rinse is all it needs. And if you store it for a long time, just make a pot and discard it. Then you are good to go.
Remember, NO DISHWASHER or WASHING-UP LIQUID!!! That is the source of discolouration/corrosion.
i thought it was a reaction of the metal as it seems to blister, the inside is always rough, really coarse surface finish, those italian engineers must have no pride.
