More on the basis there seems to be some issues between him and Maresca. He was dropped for the Fulham game due to ‘technical reasons’.Madueke? Gettable? Featured 18 times for 4th place Chelsea (scoring 5 goals from out wide).
Just surprised to see him the same list as Almiron. Crikey. More chance of Salah on a free.
Need to look at the minutes played, not games. He’s only just turned 21 and is used primarily as impact substitute at Lyon. Very similar to what Elanga was at United funnily enough when most people were equally unimpressed that we were in for him before Forest pipped us. Elanga has been given minutes and is proving to be a very good player who would walk in to our team right now. Always best to wait and see with players this age and not judge them so early in their career. Mbeumo another example. Wasn’t exactly tearing it up for Troyes in Ligue 2 before moving to Brentford.4 goals in 50 games in a league far inferior to the Prem. Surely not
This season : 11 matches, 0 goals, 0 assists - he'll fit in nicely.

Moaning is my natural condition.Tbf, half his games have been from the bench being the raw 20-21 year old he is. This place, if were not moaning about NOT looking at buying raw talented youngsters, were moaning when we DO look at buying raw talented youngsters![]()

Good points well made. I'll always trust a moyes signing so if he's happy I amNeed to look at the minutes played, not games. People were talking about Ndiayes stats in an inferior league. It don't really tell the storyNeed to look at the minutes played, not games. I personally think Mykolenko should be given licence to get forward and given a chance to show his worth until the end of the season as first choice left back.Since Moyes values fast counter attacking wingers, his speed makes sense. Would be nice if he also scored goals...
Then what, return Broja to Chelsea and loan Chillwell instead?
He's afraid of the ball.I personally think Mykolenko should be given licence to get forward and given a chance to show his worth until the end of the season as first choice left back.
Since Dyche has left, it's clear that he was not liked (to say the least) by the entire squad. It's also clear that he asked his defenders to defend and defend only, and his strikers and number 10s to first focus on defence before thinking of attack - so no surprise the team couldn't score.
Mykolenko can actually swing in a good ball, and if he's given the opportunity to get up the wing while the rest of the defence shifts over one position to the left and our number 6 stays put in the middle of the park, he might have a chance to strike a partnership with whoever is playing left wing.
It's worth a shot anyway imo.
I think we might see significant improvements very quickly now that a manager that was clearly stinking the place out with his attitude has been kicked out. I'd give him a chance, if he still proves he's not up to it, get rid in the summer as he's only got a year left on his deal after that. He's afraid of the ball.
