Won't stop the NFU on their orofit seeking march of death

I recently signed up to these. If people are concerned I hope they add they voices.

Bees
Bees are essential for our survival. They pollinate much of what we eat and play a critical role in sustaining ecosystems around the world. But the last decade has been devastating for insect populations, and bees have been hit hard - with populations shrinking by a third in the UK.

Bee-killing neonicotinoids have been banned across Europe since 2018, but the previous UK government approved these deadly chemicals for emergency use - posing a lethal threat to bee populations.

Ancient Trees

What an utterly grim article. The carbon neutral policy fallacy it depicts is only the tip, it's all the very current things happening to flora and fauna and the persistent human activity that drives it.

Doesn't do my innate pessimism much good at all.

Oh how we rejoiced.

Then.

Waste is a valuable resource now.

Quite a few of the larger EFW plants are looking at carbon capture facilities and will be starting construction soon.

hahaha this stupid country.

Change is needed. Radical change. Privatisation has failed. Privatising essential services has always been a complete nonsense for happy clappers

It simply cannot carry on like this. Huge chunks of money are ending up in the pockets of greedy [Poor language removed] rather than being reinvested in a knackered system. If anyone us happy with sewage and daylight robbery... Privatisation is the way.

England and Wales are one of the few European countries with privatised water supply. Doesn’t particularly make a lot of sense, however, don’t think that nationalising will be the panacea that people expect as evidenced in articles like this.

By no means an expert on this but a lot of problems seem to stem from people chucking all sorts down their sinks and toilets.

Always an excuse for greed.
