Window was a disappointment you can't dress it up any other way sorry.

Short of any quality in CM and up top.

I was only disappointed by our dealings at the end of the window (or lack thereof).

All the players we brought in have improved us, and contributed greatly to our best start in 38 years.

One defeat doesn't change that - even though we do need some activity in January.

The incredibly easy fixture list was an even bigger contributor

fickle people to have digs at him after this performance. Whole team played bad, and you cant judge him on any of the 2 games he has been involved in. Way too early.

...I think you're right. My only concern is that a player can do one thing on the pitch to make you feel he's decent. A control and turn, a shot on target when under pressure, a tussle with a centre back, a trick or shimmy resulting in him going past a defender, an express turn of space. I haven't seen any of those things.

My benchmark is that defenders marking him know they've been in a game, be it physically or technically. I can imagine the Norwich defenders never mentioned his name on their trip home.

He could be a good one but I haven't seen the signs yet.

As the old adage goes, you can only beat what's put in front of you.

The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world - no game is 'easy'.

At home to Hull is an easy game for us.

At home to Sunderland is an easy game for us.

It's an absolute myth. We've played a Spurs team at that point with Harry Kane enduring a miserable summer, a Stoke team completely out of form, a West Brom team with a manager actively at war with his board over new signings, an absolutely hopeless Sunderland side that just got beat at home by Palace, and beaten by a tosh Blackpool side.

As I've said previously, we've learned nothing from this current run of games. Let's see where we are at the halfway stage of 19 games.

I meant the loan fee of 1.5 mill + option to buy at 14.5 mill. Transfer fees seem insane to me! I'm guess i'm stuck in the 90's for me this guy is worth £725,000 max.

you realise you don't pay the option to buy fee unless you opt to buy him right? So £1.5m is pretty cheap even if he is abysmal. I think he was bottom of the list tbh and we missed out on our prime targets. Unless we're being taken for a ride I guess. Only time will tell if Valencia is rubbish and we're being taken for a ride :)
