This ain't the kind of signing we were all hoping for, but it is good news.
Number one priority was to bring in a target man, Yes I know, we messed up, should have happened before the start of the season and all that. Point is, we kept trying. And we've brought in someone with solid Premier League and international experience, a player who's had 50 starts in the last couple of seasons for a very decent West Ham side. He's well good enough to do the job he's been brought in for, to be a backup for Lukaku and a useful sub for when we need to chase a game.
