English Talent and Euros

Just looking at a twitter poll comparing Grealish and Foden and thought about the other young quality players we have. I know the Beckham/Gerrard era was lauded but I honestly think this generation is so much better. The only problem will be if Southgate can use them properly, if at all.

Grealish, Foden, Rashford, Sancho, Maddison, Mount. Then you have CHO, Harvey Barnes, Greenwood, DCL, Saka, Phillips & Bellingham all playing really well Not forgetting the older players like a Sterling, Kane.

Defensively, Stones looks quality this year, Chilwell, James, James Justin, Godfrey, TAA, Wan Bissaka, Lamptey & Tomori doing well at Milan. Shaw is also playing well at Utd this year.

I just think this generation it seems to be CM and CB are the areas we lack top top talent.

Like our situation, the lack of a quality keeper will be the barrier stopping this lot achieving - need to commit to one and stick IMHO - Pope is ok, but for me he is the one who needs backed

You cant deny there are some top ypung players there. Whether we can get a tune out of them or utilise them correctly is another matter.

There is a reason foreign teams are now looking to England trying to poach players.

It would be good if we did mate, but dont think we are good enough. Dont think the back four are good enough, apart from Stones. Pickford very rarely lets England down but as we know there is always mistake waiting to happen.

My mate sent me his XI for the Euros.

It had Dier in defence, Pickford in goal, Rice in midfield, Alexander-Arnold at left-back.

So bad it'll probably make an appearance one day.
