skem is in west lancs.
fact.

so would it be ok for everton to move there as they are all "scousers" whereas the people of kirkby, sandwiched atwixt the 2 are not ?

just out of curiosity, do you consider yourself a lancastrian ? as merseyside isnt a county.

As a Gaswegian I find the city of Liverpool more like Glasgow than any other city i have visited. To me, it dont feel like England!

And re an all English Everton team - has ther ever been one. Look back to the very early Everton Teams - some were close to 100% Scottish. And look at all our sucessful modern era teams - usually lots of Scots in them. Shame we have none today - maybe that part of our problem ( though in general the quality of Scottish players has dropped off recently)

But Scottish players i think do well at Everton ( and at the ********s) because I think they quickly feel at home in the city in a way they dont say at London Clubs.

Remember Big Dunc - a bit of a flop at Ibrox even and no great shakes at Newcastle, But at Goodison - even on his last legs.

Ther are still lots of good Scottish players out there Moyes should take a look at. Indeed, despite being a Scot moyes has let a lot of good (and cheap) Scottish talent get away. Look at McCarthy at Wigan - they got him for next to nothing two seasons ago, now we probably could afford him. And Charlie Adam. Im not surprised to Kopites are now after him, . But were he to go to Spurs instead I reckon he'd flop there.but we could have got him for half a million even last summer
