I distance myself from being english for the reasons i give. I dont feel remotely english and would never support anything english in sport

I dont get this HB, dont you support Everton Football Club? If the answer is yes, then you support an "ENGLISH" football club and football is a "SPORT" is it not? :confused2:

Its wrong, there are too many people not proud of being English, and too many people making out that its offensive to be proud of being English. Well **** that, I love my country and I love it's History.

F'ing spot on lad. I get annoyed that we cannot display the George Cross flag without it being offensive. It only appears to be this country that is affected because America, Wales, Scotland, Ireland etc etc are free to display there national flag without any problems. Jesus, we cant even celebrate St Georges Day (Our Day) properly but have no problem celebrating St Patricks Day which in my opinion is just another excuse for a piss up. This country is on its arse because of the mentality of the people living in it.

im english white and im proud of my country and my heritage.

anyone who mentions the bnp or being racism becouse of those facts is nothing short of being a pillock.

as for liverpool , saying its not an english city is dumb beyond dumb.

liverpool is a cosmopolitan city but its predominatly english and in england.
it has strong roots to many other areas of the world not just welsh , irish or scottish . its a olde world seaport ffs !!

as for english players in the everton team , of course i want as many english players as possible.if having english/local players didnt matter , then where the stadium is for our team shouldnt matter either.

local fans , local stadium and local players should always be the foundation to any club.

Hahahahaha, i think you will find that Merseyside is part of England, anybody who even dares says its not is a total fool.

Oh wait its HB saying it, hahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaahhaha.

Merseyside is a metropolitan county in North West England.

The End.

Oh dear, when you understand what the adults are talking about come back:lol::lol::lol:

Nice one mate, to be honest last night I started questioning myself when HB chimed in with his usual garbage. As I'm not a resident scouser, I used to live there for a bit in Uni, and obviously got to Goodison for many years in the past. I honestly thought it was just RS who hated England, due largely to them having not many English players to look out for.

But posts this morning have made me realise that I was wrong to question myself.

its not a city , but the most non english place ive been to is corby. its like a tiny scotland.

But all this doesn't matter. It's still England. Whichever way you slice it, whoever in whatever district decides they are not in England are deluded. Gordon Brown, such as he is, still dictates how you operate. The Queen is still your sovereign. Until the next English Civil War, which I reckon is around 50 years away, it is still England.

There is no argument.

Liverpool is in England, but you're kidding yourselves if you think it's a city with a population that thinks of itself as being English. There's definitely loads out supporting England when those chumps qualify themselves for a tournament. But that's about the extent of it. Ask any Scouser and they'll know where their roots are and they wont, by and large, be English. They have dual identity. It's only natural, we are a city comprised of immigrants from all over the British Isles and, because we're a seaport, further afield.
