Should be an unimpressive but easy win for In-ger-land
 
Be made up if Cashley + Fat Frank don't go the world cup. Will make it even sweeter when England win it and those 2 mockneys (golden generation my eye) had nowt to do with it.

If England somehow managed to win it they will probably run on in full kit along with John Terry to lift the trophy :P

Good for everton in that he is rested for the FA cup game but hope for Baines's sake it doesn't meant that cole is first choice left back still

Edit - looks like the press at least think Baines is 1st choice

didn't even realise we were playing tonight. Or that there had been a squad called up recently.

Shows you how much i care about friendlies these days.
 

I reckon there's a possibility that this England side have gone full circle and are in actual fact a bit underrated. The England starting XI is good enough to make the quarter-finals.

Hope he does, lots of the press moan about young players being not given a chance and then gripe when experienced players like cole, Lampard and Terry are left out.

Cole cannot train the day after a game because of his bad ankle - why on earth anyone thinks he will be able to do 3 games in a week and spend 90 mins walking up and down the wing let alone run in sauna like heat is beyond me. Think we should be taking 3 over 30 players at max and treating the world cup as prep for Euro 2016 in France when the weather etc will suit us more than either Brazil or Russia
