Brilliant stuff today from both teams, great entertainment. The Clarke catch was stunning and was the moment of the day.

England massive favourites to win now but it is brilliant that there is still a chance that it could go the other way.

That's the beauty of test cricket. Doncha just love it.
Clarke's was very good as were Voges' and Lyon's.

Aussies more than capable of getting 400.
As an Englishman it is normal to be wary of the Aussies but it would be the third highest ever successful run chase.
The highest ever 4th innings score was 654/5 when England were chasing 696 South against South Africa.

It's got to be bowling stump to stump, full length. Variable bounce plus a little swing should do it ;)

Surprisingly, I think it will be Broad who is best exponent of this, again providing he takes his brain with him to the middle and doesn't bowl half-trackers.

was so glad to see him not bowl short today. think root will get a partnershup breaker wicket somewhere along the line. got ticket to the last day so not sure how i want tomorrow to end.

If he leaves his ego in the dressing room, I'd agree ;)

I watched him bat in the first innings, and he looked a lot more composed, focused and braver than since his injury, hopefully this will apply to his bowling too. I have to say I was impressed with his temperament, perhaps the new coach has put arm an around him and given him a word.

Anderson looks like he is well up for it and Wood is certainly showing that he is ready for this level, even Ali and Broad showed in the first innings that we might have been wrong saying that the Aussies bowling attack is much better than ours.

Never write off the Aussies but think it will be a bit too far for this Aussie side.

Oh and Joe Root is just too classy.

i like the fight in this english team. every single test they seem to be coming back from major blows. 43-3 in this first innings then aussies 180-2 or whatever they were then we lose 2 early wickets again. they don't seem to allow that massive momentum swing that we've been whitnessing for the last 3 or 4 years.

did anyone else love it when billy big bollocks warner was being a total #LAD by standing in the way of stokes doing his routine? the little rat didn't score any runs so has to make sure he's in the game. such an egotistical beaut - he's like the gerrard of cricket - always thinks the camera has to be on him. hope he gets a snorter 1st ball up.
