Another adaptation of Jane Austin's "EMMA" starting Romola Garai was shown last night on PBS Masterpiece Theatre here in the States. It was absolutely stunning. The setting put me right back into the 1800's. I though the acting was marvelous and the visuals were top notch.

I don't do the whole T.V. genre really . Have read the book though - and me daughter is an English teacher , to bring it back around to literature - .

Love the name Emma you picked a good one LCAB. I like to read and Jane Austin has always been a favourite when I was younger. Of course back then Enid Blyton was #1 in my book.
