Not a question of gender, for me. But she is untested at this level and so should not be a candidate for us, in this state we find ourselves in, on the same basis Ferguson and Rooney shouldn't be.

Not really. Why would this current bunch of players all of a sudden start playing lovely free flowing football with a woman in charge. When they couldn't play consistently with the likes of Anchelotti in charge. People saying that Lampard and Rooney are not good enough. But this woman is.
Let her manage a team in league 1 or 2 first. Like people saying that Ferguson should do. See how she gets on.
So no from me. Just like some of her male counterparts. She has no experience. If this thread is serious, then why not consider Tranmeres manager. Or Exeters. Or Rochdales. Or Hartlepools. You get my drift..
It's Duncan Ferguson for me. Now for the short term. He's been around this bunch of player's for long enough. That's his experience.
No bedding in needed. See how he does. Who knows.
Up The Toffees.....

I dont think anyone could oppose this in principle. But I think because there has never been a female manager of a men's premier league team, it will be difficult for a woman to be the first. I would imagine it would take a woman managing successfully in the lower leagues and working their way up to change people's minds. If a person is a good manager, not much else about them should matter.

Plenty candidates get dismissed because they’ve only played or managed at championship level yet it’s somehow a good idea to give it to a manager of a women’s team. Nothing to do with gender but a decent school team would hammer a WSL team. If we’re just trying to be all woke and modern let’s get Bruce Jenner as her assistant and we can all hold hands and and skip in to non league football within 5 years
