I quite like the Citadel though.

he reckoned that it was like playing in a cosy bar after the mega stadiums he's played (i didnt go btw).

Citadel had an ace sound system btw and a lot would play it between Manc & L'pool when doing the Uni Tour.

mate went to this from cardiff. when he said he was missing the champions league final because he was going to colwyn bay to see elton john i pissed myself laughing. seemed so out of character for him. and colwyn bay!?!

My Uncle Norman and his wife went to watch him too at colwyn bay but they left early as it was a bit loud for them, but fair play to Elton, on their way out he called out to them "Goodbye Norm And Jean" ..... although he never knew them at all.
