Same. Never had an account but would occasionally like to browse. Guessing a lot of people were the same. Definitely means ads are reaching less people.Having jibbed twitter a little while ago and deleting my account, I’ve noticed now, that when I click on a twitter link posted in here, I can no longer see the tweet and replies via the browser version. Just get a standard sign up page.
Another Musk change which almost seems designed to turn advertisers off.

What about people that disown the ones that they have?Absolute goon. Latest thing he’s spouted is that people without kids shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Cretin.
Not so sure. It is a mess of a platform at the moment. Loads at work looked at it, and said nah.Not current affairs, obviously. Just a standard Ale House post about Musk suing Meta over the new Threads app.
Zuckerberg saying there’s 70m signups in 48 hours. With Instagram having over 2 billion monthly users, Threads will be massive, could be Big trouble for Twitter.

It just seems to me, a massive data grab for AI. Bit shady as well in that you can't delete your account, as it is linked to your Instagram.
so once you have it, you have it.

Musk and Zuckerberg are both awful for what they allow their massively influential social media platforms to be complicit in, but Musk seems more explicitly racist-adjacent, whereas Zuckerberg seems to be an AI-version of a human if you commanded it to generate milquetoast corporate-pleasantries 24/7.
