Pro Zionists hate Soros with a passion. Including so called "alt-right" media figures such as Alex Jones, Ben Shapiro, Milo Yiannopoulos, Dave Ruben, Avi Yemeni, etc

It's kind of bizarre that they get labelled anti-semitic. Whilst the most ardent Zionists living in Israel hate George Soros too.

I suppose everyones anti semite these days.

Do you think there was any way that Musk could have predicted that tweeting that Soros “hates humanity”, would result in a large amount of antisemitic replies?

Do you think this was merely an unintended and unforeseen consequence of his criticism?

So Elon Musk hates Jews? This was a premeditated tweet simply to cause hatred against Jews?

Absolutely nothing to do with the politics of George Soros? Or nothing to do with Soros dumping his entire stake in Tesla, for example?

Don’t think I said that did I?

But you didn’t answer either question.

They go for the whole 'control the media' thing don't they, which is a classic and very old anti-Semitic trope. Not all Jews want Zionism. A lot of the writings about controlling things were around well before Israel existed or was even more than a theory

Why answer such a pointless question? Elon Musk has 139 million followers or something. He can tweet about George Soros being a pro humanitarian and it still would have resulted in anti-semitic replies. Especially afterall, any criticism of George Soros is anti-semitic by nature.

So, I think your answer is he could have predicted the anti-Semitic response, but it was an unintended consequence of his criticism.

He could have criticised Soros’s political leanings, or the fact that he pulled money from Tesla, or that he didn’t like the tie Soros was wearing.

But he didn’t, he said Soros “hates humanity”.

As I said in here the other day, it’s unfortunate that so many of Musk’s tweets seem to inadvertently play into right wing tropes and conspiracies. The guy can’t catch a break.

My thought is that Elon Musk dislikes George Soros. Not because he is a Jew, but because he's George Soros.

Proclaiming anti-semitism dilutes real anti-semitism.

Quite a vacuous reason that though, isn’t it. “I don’t like him, cos he’s him.”

I suspect this is something a lot of anti-semites would also say.

“It’s nothing to do with him being a Jew, it’s just I don’t like him”

“Yeah, but what is it specifically you don’t like?”

“I don’t like the way he operates in the shadows, pulling the strings of finance and influencing world leaders, as the de facto puppet master who really controls things.

“Ah”

You know I asked this before and you said you didn't say that. But everything you write insinuates it, so why not just come out and say it?

I’ve got no strong reason to believe he does.

I can easily believe that he falls into believing anti-Semitic tropes, given his fondness for conspiracy (1), the dubious sources he’s linked to in the past (2), and the proliferation of anti-semitism on twitter since he took over (3)
