Eleven Sports could be in trouble

In that case you were lied to. I presume that they released you from your contract with them because of it.

To be read with a raised eyebrow and the knowledge that they're probably just a big bunch of shysters who sell on 6 month/ 12 month/ etc. subscriptions and there's probably something in the small print that doesn't guarantee anything.

BT via Virgin Media. I'd rather they covered Serie A and left out the PL games, tbh.

The Bundesliga coverage is probably the best of the deal. French football doesn't interest me one iota. I'd rather they replaced that with the Dutch League.

I bought an annual pass but have to admit I have watched only sparingly.

I find myself defaulting more to whatever French/German game is on BT, just for the convenience of watching on TV.

Eleven have presented streaming as something revolutionary when all it is in reality is a backward step for the viewer.

Being able to cast to TV is not enough, they needed carriage on Sky/Virgin/BT and if not that, then some Netflix equivalent.

I don't blame them for having a go, and expect the rights will be mopped up on the cheap.

It was clear Sky and BT were not going to facilitate them in any way and why should they.

The less fragmentation in rights, the better so in the long-run it will be a good thing as long as lessons are learned on all sides.

Good point

If you watch all of the Premier League and Championsip football across both SKY and BT on most weekends, that's roughly 5-6 matches

Who really has time for other League's once you've watched all that? Who even has the stamina for MORE football after watching it all?

1 match a week is enough, especially if it’s the quality of Everton v Watford this week.

Dave is Koemans self loathing alter ego. Confirmed.
