Elephant Beer

Has anyone had Carsberg's (boo, hiss) Elephant beer? It's lovely stuff even though it's a tad strong at 7.4% alcohol. I've got some in the fridge but am waiting until it is 8 p.m. before I cram it down. Delicious.

Why waitPatience was never a strong point of mine,the daughter got me some henspeck or something like that from B&Ms or m&bs she paid £1.39p a bottle and got me in her words a weeks supply never knew there was only two days in a week

Carlsberg is a bit stronger over here than over in the UK (4.6%, which is standard for DK). They make a cracking porter, which really blows your head off. Tuborg Gold is the best standard beer here. But even that is 5.8%, which is pretty strong. I usually like stuff to be dead on the 5%. German beer is best for that, and for taste.

Yeah, I've been down the weeks supply route.
I think it needs to be rechristened the 2 or 3 day supply.

That's what is getting through the diabetes, or at least tell them that .

Funny thing is that when I was in my 20s I didn't really drink that much, just a few beers at the weekend. But then when I gave up smoking weed, I turned to alcohol as a replacement.

No, its actually called elephant beer, its in big (500ml) bottles over here. Used to sell it in the offy on the Woodchurch so i think its pretty widely available

Same here with the 5% thing Neb, anythink weaker is like piss and anything stronger gets me pissed too quick. I like German lager as well, the purity laws that govern them make sure they are all top quality

Me too. I'd cane an ounce of skunk a week, all my own home grown stuff. I think two or three tokes now and I'd turn whiter than a scotsman in winter.
