Depends on what you are looking to do with them. Just man cave dj'ing or play parties and that.
As I say, I've got a little set of 400's. For just recording and playing/streaming sets at home they work fine with Rekordbox.
Brand new are half the price of 1000's as well. They are small though, so wont look as cool in the man cave
