El Crapico: Spurse vs ManUre

Hands up mate, I’d obviously love to see us win trophy some time soon! Enjoy the coming days and celebrations, soak it all up! It’s the beauty of the cup competitions that even after a tough season you can take in all the glory of a major cup win!

The only thing is there’s not really anything to reflect on and replay in your head about the game if you are a Spurs fan. A glorious victory and performance it was not. They didn’t even have a shot on goal.

I’d still be over the moon if it was us though

The bitterness among other Premier League clubs fans because we won a trophy makes yesterday even sweeter.

Had a look at a few today out curiosity and it is absolutely glorious. The sort or clubs that have never got close to a European Trophy (or any in some cases) in their history but are trying to pooh pooh our achievement.

The closest most of them have ever got to Silverware is buying a bottle of metal Polish from the Range.

All their opinions are driven by the social media narrative because they are literally too stupid to be able to think for themselves.

Anyway, speak next season. Good luck.
I'm delighted for Spurs. You will finally learn that you don't have to have the likes of Hoddle, Ardiles, Blanchflower, Sheringham, or Gilzean to win a pot. All this auld guff about "the Spurs way" and you win it by parking the bus, hoofing the ball, and pragmatically refusing to competently pass it yourselves.

You've changed.

Just shows how weird and random football is. We've had our worst domestic season in decades, yet won a major trophy. Nobody but some Spurs fans will remember where we finished when we won the UEFA Cup in 1984. And hardly anyone will remember how well we did or didn't play in the final.

Noobdy will remember Spurs finishing 17th in 2025 or how poor the match was from both sides, but we will always have Europe League Winners 2025 in the history books.

That said, the domestic season was a disgrace and last night was really do or die. I still think Ange needs to go. Yes he won a trophy and he'll always have our thanks for that, but he's shown he's totally out of his depth in the PL.

I don't see how the PL form will improve much next season under him, so he needs to go.

Not reflecting on anything, his team won a cup & hope he enjoyed it. Glorious victory and performance / shots on goal? The lads team just won a major trophy, glad he’s made up.

Not that we see every final. But I think the Chelsea/ManU FA Cup final about 20 years ago was the worst game. Nothing happened til Drogba poked the winner late in extra time.

Tottenham were at least intentional in the first half, which was the attitude that got them the goal.

But we can't accept that. We have to find a way to crap on this game, and diminish Postecoglou/Tottenham's achievement.

Very similar to our cup final win in 1995.

A rubbish game settled by one goal, but all you remember is the cup win.

Ange is wonderful.
I think ye should keep him

I don't get the reaction some are having to people saying the game was atrocious. It was terrible.

Most have said it also that they take that no problem if it was us winning. I'm the same. But it doesn't change the fact it was a stinker and both teams looked awful and clueless.
