Not really. Seems Atalanta aren't yet in the final stages of selling their main striker, and would only need Toure if and when he's sold. The deal is likely already done, but they'll probably holding off on announcing it until they sell their striker or a deal is reached with United

I'd agree with that Ihaenacho shouldnt/wouldnt be to hard to do in tandem with Toure!

Get the easy one boxed off and we at least have a centre forward we can play first day of season

Then we should be saying we want a decision by x date (Today) or we move on.
If the hold up is the Hojlund deal then its clearly obvious where the players next destination is.

On the flipside to that is it worth holding out for our number 1 target even if it goes late in the window or go down to the next player.

I’d say it very much suits Everton for this to drag on all summer when they know full well he wants to go to Atalanta, then at the last minute when it happens they can say “we tried” and “Maupay is the fittest he’s ever been”.

I don’t believe Thelwell and Kenwright have any intention of spending money on a striker. I think this is a smokescreen because they know it’s never happening.
