The structure of the deal is key. It seems Almeria are ok with a low down payment but more over the long term whereas Leicester are going to hold us to ransom with a high upfront fee. Likewise I'd expect a similar thing with players who have release clauses (Guirassy). Dia might be a decent alternative if we can use Maupay in part-exchange.

Clearly EBT has been a long term target so I imagine the club is putting all eggs in his basket knowing our history
