This game has now been put back to Sunday March 15th, kick off 3 p.m.

Anyone know the reason why

Everton's game against Stoke City has been put back 24 hours.

The Toffees were due to face Stoke on Saturday, 15 March - the game will now take place on Sunday 16 March.

The match has been switched for Merseyside Police operational reasons and will not be shown on live television. Kick of remains at 3pm.

Strange . Weve had Celtic and Rangers down here , yet they move the kick-off for Stoke ?? Odd . They have got a little rep' among the England following Championship/Div1/Div2 clubs , but really ... You cannot be serious ??!!??

Exactly . Stoke City ? Didnt they try to act up when they played Manchester Utd only to get cornered in Irlam and sent packing (y)

That was me point .
1 . Its 20 years too late .
2. Goodison Park , and the approach thereupon , is one of the most camera-ed up places in Merseyside .
3 . No-one's arsed .
4. Even when it was going off , the ground was way down the list of preferred rendezvous' .
5. Didnt really have a five , but authoritatively speaking , 4 just didn't quite pull it off .

Really annoyed about this, had booked a hotel as was going to make a night of it with a few friends, one who is due to come over from Ireland, but now not going to bother as would mean having to take a day off work on the Monday.

Remember getting caught at the canal it was nasty but that was the 60s all over

I was gonna come up for this but don't know if i will now cause i'd have to to take the Monday off.

Do we actually have any Saturday 3pm kick offs left before the end of the season?

Just checked and our last 3 home games against Man City, Spurs and West Ham are. At the moment but will no doubt get moved.

When I see these two bob mobs coming to Everton every now and again trying to start friction I dont know whether to laugh or cry . L.C.A.B is right though about Goodison and the area that surrounds it as far as you would be mad to kick off as a certain nicking would be quick at hand or failing that you would be very likely getting an early morning wake up call from Merseysides finest. Who really gives a [Poor language removed] about fighting at football :lol:
