Drenthe- really?!
Fellaini all day long for me, think Howard has been very dependable too.
It's between Barkley, Vellios or Arteta for me.
Whoever scores the winner in the derby.
Fellaini and Heitinga for me.
Been impressed with Hibbert this year too, okay nothing extrordinary from him, but his crossing has got better, he's making a few more overlaps and can't really remember a balls up by him. Most Improved Player maybe![]()
Tough. No one has really stood out this season.
1. Heitinga - Solid, calm force, he has drastically improved the defense. Has played well with every partner he's been given, especially with Duffy. I would say he is the best cb at the club, which is impressive considering all the hype around jags in the summer. He also seems like a good leader. Right now I would say he is the only player deserving of the award.
2. Felliani - These last few games he has been spectacular and has proved his price tag. He has ripped apart teams single handedly. However his finishing has been way below par. If he can keep up his form till the end of the season and get some goals he could beat out Heitinga.
3. Baines - Honestly Baines hasn't been spectacular but he's been solid and reliable.
Who is going to get young player of the season? Coleman easily won it last year but we haven't seen enough of the youth this season. Won't be Rodwell, Coleman or Barkley as they haven't had enough playing time. Vellios and maybe Gueye seem to be the only contenders but even then I wouldn't say either of them is deserving of the award. ??
