EFC Away

Thats it exactly. You go to away games, its the same people week in week out, coach 1 and 2 from goodison. They have full credits. So no one else can get a ticket. So why not give others a chance, those with a bit of…life in them….if know what mean
Those away fans have suffered for years and kept going when times were even worse than they are now. Tickets get passed around from game to game anyway . And I wouldn't thank you for a ticket to places like Citeh where we rarely get a result or even score a goal .

and that is exactly why we should allow new Blues into away games

I think stub system was fair when anyone could get on ladder, if they went to unpopular games such as Reading away on a Tuesday night. But current system where it's same old people week in week out, has severely reduced level of vocal support our players get away from home. Going to an away game isn't a big deal if you go them almost every game and if you don't you just pass it on to someone else.

I've a mate whose a Man Utd season ticket holder and they do a much fairer system as in all season ticket holders can apply on line for whichever away game they choose and they get an email telling them whether they're lucky or unlucky so that guarantees a cross section of their fans get access to away tickets unlike our club who've been selling them to pretty much the same 3,000 people for years.

I've had a season ticket for 30 years and go all home cup ties but never have enough credits to get a ticket for any away unless it's an FA Cup tie at a big ground when we get more than the usual 3,000 tickets.

It's only been an issue in last 10 years. Before that it wasn't an issue. In past people went to game supported team got stubs. Fair enough. My issue is that you now have people buying tickets for credits not to actually to go to game, and they pass it on others from supporters club. There's nothing wrong with credit system, just think that it should of been got rid of and restarted when it was obvious people were cheating system. How have you ended up with situation when you have 2000 fans with more than 12 13 credits is ridiculous.

Demand has gone up mate that's why we've moved to Bramley my lad has taken years to build his credit up now I think it's practically impossible because of demand... been going a good few away games but just down to luck that someone you know can't go.. you can't have ago if you're not prepared to go say on a Wednesday night away to Portsmouth in the cup majority of away lads and girls do...my lad doesn't miss any

I've said credit system was by and large fair, because as you say people could get tickets for let's say Reading away in league cup. My issue is that you'll have people who buy tickets for Sunderland lets say on a Monday night with no intention of going and sell it to someone else, who wont get a credit. If credit system was restarted then fans who go to most games would still get rewarded as it used to be. If you have dedication to go to Sunderland on a Monday night, you deserve a credit for your dedication. It's not fair if your lad goes to Sunderland let's say and doesn't get credit, yet someone who sits at home watching it does.

Ye fair enough got to agree I went today myself but it doesn't go on my credit... just a minefield don't know the answer then . just one thing is tho say my lad goes every away game but if he said to me do you want my ticket I'm unwell.is that right I've got a season ticket and go away if the opetunity arises or is he getting his credit done.. see were I'm coming from.... love your post but don't know what the perfect answer is...

So how would your scenario work? Just say to people who have travelled 1000s of miles and spent fortunes over decades that you are now in a ballot with Johnny come lately who suddenly fancies going to the aways? Its never going to happen im afraid. I do agree we need to stop people passing the tickets on though, as we actually do attend all the aways I wouldnt be against say 300 random tickets being collected at the venue with id, and if the person doesnt collect then they lose the credit

Bizarre thread this one. The threads jist is that the away end is crap because it's the same 3000 going every week, but that loads of the 3000 pass often sell their tickets to people not on the ladder, which contradicts the first bit. Which is it?
