Eden Hazard has declared that he has decided to move to the Premier League next season after his latest starring performance for his French club, Lille.
The 21-year-old Belgian midfielder scored the equalising goal from the penalty spot as Lille beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 on Sunday to boost their hopes of Champions League qualification.
Patrick Vieira, Manchester City's football development executive, and Martin Ferguson, the brother of Sir Alex Ferguson and a Manchester United scout, were both at the stadium.
"I want to play in England [next season]. That's what I've decided," Hazard told French television after the win.
The younger Hazard has been described by youth coach Eric Assadourian as a "technically gifted player who can settle a match by himself with ease" and his older brother has stated that he believes Thorgan is the better player of the two.
