Allegedly Prentice quoted a blatant Liverpool fan twitter page criticising the signing of Delafeou this week as well and wrote it as it being an Everton fan.

There is constant little digs being made by them and its obviously about the huge criticism they've been receiving.

It wasn't alleged mate. It was outright fact that the tweet was from someone who was openly an LFC fan. His Twitter page is decorated in LFC stuff.

For Prentive to make out this was an EFC fan unhappy with Deulofeu's signing was a disgrace at worst and an awful piece of journalism at best.

It was a total lie, which is the worst thing a journo can do - lie for the purposes of an article.

Its deliberate incompetence.

A blind man could see it wasn't an Evertonian. Its been done intentionally.

because hardly any blues buy it in the first place

If you don't get the word out they will try and make out like the speak for Everton fans in the national media even.

When they clearly don't.

We've got to be overtly and clearly anti - ECHO. To put them in their place.

aye that's fair enough

Good call this, ive mentioned to people that i wouldn't buy it and they have no idea that there are Evertonias who wont, you tell people and they think you are the only one.
Does my head in Carlin,a similar bugbear of mine is you listen/watch locally and nationally and this "bitter" tag we have, all spawned from LFC and their fans through their "relationship" with journo's/TV/Radio IMHO,when the irony is we know the real "bitters" are them, but is anything ever turned back on them? No.

This is the club that had Peter Hooton writing in the Echo only four weeks ago that it wasn't their fault at Heysel.

Our name was also inserted.

WHAT! Destroy our local paper... the one that's based in Manchester and printed in Oldham...all those local jobs gone...how can you even think about it.
Shame on you.

Bring it on.

Not footy related, but one of the stories on their facebook yesterday was about the death of a girl whose Californian father trained to be a vet at Liverpool uni and graduated 12 years ago.

Talk about a tenuous link.

Desperately sad rag of a paper
