I wouldn't buy the echo even if I didn't like football. It's dreadful from front to back.
Each to his own mate.
Its my local rag & I buy it.
I bypass anything to do with LFC.
Its no better or worse than any local newspaper,I like to catch up with everything going on in my city.
Seams theres a lot of posters outside the Echo's catchment area saying they wouldnt buy it .
So whats the option, buy the sun, mirror, mail & read who Chelsea or Man utd are signing next ....no thanks.

He also notes in that piece that the Echo doesn't back regime change because 'they don't necessarily think it will improve things'.

That says it all. It's straight from the 'better the devil you know' camp. The idea that this 3 man board, 1 of whom is a shadow director, none of whom invest a penny, cannot be improved is the biggest load of BS ever.

It's an outright barefaced delusional lie.

Jobs must be at stake if circulation does not go up ,every Evertonian knows ït excist, more waffle from the Echo.
In today's there is an article õn Martinez, first photo is one of Sterling !!!!!they just don't get it.

So almost 200 votes.

Running at ca. 90%

Saying they will not buy the ECHO.

Good work John Thompson.

I think they should just come out with the truth- they are the official newspaper of Liverpool FC

For that reason I will never buy it.

garbage paper. Too little too late.
They had a real suck up article in it lately. Clearly they have had a meeting and decided they should should be nice to the blues for a few weeks and they will all come back. Nonsense. Its a Kop fanzine , and a shid one at that

I look at the on-line Echo to find out what is going on in Liverpool generally. But then again I stopped buying newspapers as they all are on line for free. If I lived in Liverpool I still wouldn't buy it as why buy something when you can get it for free.

As soon as you click on the link and the piece comes up, what do you see on the right hand side. Recommended in Sport - 4 LFC stories and 1 about Everton. Sums the Echo's football coverage up really. LFC get 80% of football coverage and we get 20%, the Echo will never change it's LFC bias.

Journalists at the Echo are becoming increasingly worried in case the Mirror group close them down and just have an on-line version. Can the paper version of the Echo survive with a average circulation of 62 000 August 2014? Which is a 14% fall year on year. The Echo have been told to try and increase circulation, hence the overtures to Evertonians.

The Echo usually gets a glance over on a slow day in the Office but it always ends up in a mini-fume that all of the "top stories" are LFC and that it's usually the same drivel spat out again and again claiming to be top stuff, end of the world style breaking news...

Question:

Does journalists that are known to be Blue write stories about team Liverpool into Echo?

Yes, I buy it. They name and shame local nonces, and tell us which little smack rat has been on the rob.

It's a tabloid. What else do you expect? They can fill 99% of the paper with kopite propaganda for all I care. I don't read them bits anyway.
