Lets not get the blue bunting out yet boys

As it stands, Liverpool have added in my opinion a very good winger (Chelsea reject calls are daft, DeBruyne? Lukaku? etc), thye have added the best young striker in the country at a fraction of what he should cost and added Robertson also were i think the jury is out.
My guess is Coutinho will stay, they will ask him for 1 more year and he will probably feel he owes it to liverpool, especially with them playing in the champions league.
They have 2 obsticals to get past to get there 2 other main targets in Van Dijk & Keita, they have the players on board wiith the tapping up part of the deal so they just have to work on hte clubs. My guess is Saints will fold and liverpool will get Van Dijk and the tapping up will all be "nah that didnt happen, anyway, everyone does it laaa), but they wont get Keita.
They have dead wood to shift and some mug will buy moreno, markovic and sakho will probably go for some decent chedder also.

its a big month for LFC and even if they dont get Keita & Van Dijk, but keep Coutinho they would be in a stronger position than they were at the begining of the window.

Also talk of defensive frailtys are a little ott. The derby at ours last year first half especially, we threw the kitchen sink at them, i remember watford away also were they ground a 1-0 out.
Infact just checked the stats they conceded less goals than us and arsenal, and only 3 more than city
And your point is? Or are you just praising them.

Quite frankly, considering Herr Klopp admitted openly some weeks ago that he couldn't sell Sturridge because he couldn't afford to replace him (presumably 'like for like' being understood)....the main obstacle for LFC will be to get FSG to get the greenbacks out and buy these supposed targets without having cash in hand via these sales of their 'deadwood'. Media wise, I haven't noticed any queues forming to rush and buy their spares as yet.

I reckon it could be your year!

Nice quote from Klipperty,

"I'm not interested in what Jose Mourinho says. Why should I talk about Manchester United? Jose is talking about us, yes. Okay, we had a season like Man United the year before. I don't know if anybody asked us how it feels. Sorry that we lost the final yes, that's right. We played Sevilla, they played Ajax. That's the difference."

Everything from not wanting to talk about Utd. to then go to do just that and then blaming their defeat on having a tougher opponent. Maybe Ajax think the same.

didn't realise the RS did the double and qualified for the CL that season?

you keep telling yourself that in your sleep. Absolutely no indication whatsoever that solanke is anywhere close to the bets young striker in the country. Not even close to someone like sandro ramirez for example. Anyway, their "strengthening" is not even close to the strengthening that everyone else in the top 7 has done so they're without a doubt worse off. Spurs still have a better squad despite not buying anyone ... before you try and suggest that.
