The creamy bellwhiffs are organising another protest against their current 'yank' owners....

Cue banners being dragged from the back of the airing cupboard, youtube videos about raping the family by q list zelebridees and a march from somewhere they were always going to be to somewhere they were always going to go....

It's like deja vu all over again :) :)
Is that 'cos they haven't wazzed a load of cash on useless carthorses again? Christ, you'd think they'd be pleased.

Is that about the increase in ticket prices MJ?

I heard a kopite in here whinging earlier, something about £70 a ticket.

Cant afford a ticket la!

The piss stained beaut has been the game once in the last 15 years.

Can you imagine we had the owners Liverpool have? We'd be ecstatic with the money they'd splunked, them redeveloping our stadium, their commercial deals etc.. . And I doubt we'd have gotten the same crap they bought.

and yet, here they are, reading to do ANOTHER protest march against Yank owners because they didn't spend 50m in a winter window.

The protest sis being mooted due to a meeting a few days ago with fan liaisons. They went to the board with their worries and requested cheaper ~£30 tickets for lower tiers and fairer pricing on the game categories or thes crapping of the categories all together.

The board said no o everything they put forward and now the rumour is that they will ne rising the ticket prices to an average o £70 a ticket, with more expansive and cheaper seats depending on category band.

We may laugh, but the whole £50 for an away ticket to the derby could hold fond memories.

70 pound average for a ticket is a joke.

I wouldn't feel sorry for liverpool fans even if someone rammed an airplane carrier up their arses, but I'd be pretty upset if our board started charging those prices.
All joking aside you're right mate. It is absolutely scandalous. The sad thing is, for all their cultural and historical appropriation, LFC have long since migrated from being a 'Liverpool' Football Club and are now more concerned with being a global brand. I would imagine they have little concern over losing elements of the local fan base, knowing they'll pick up a certain amount of daytrippers. Although how long those 'fans' will pay 70 quid a ticket for a team that is increasingly slipping from the perceived football hierarchy remains to be seen.

Lower Bullens average single £35 or so (Maybe £30 to 40)

Season ticket £510 ish. Or circa 15 to 16 x £35

LFC basic season ticket prices are around £800 IIRC. So this increase would take it to - I guess - £1050-1120 or 40% more.

From the Echo.....There'll be a special scheme for 17-21 year olds - plus a plan involving Merseyside schools to give more than a thousand free tickets a season to local pupils as rewards for good behaviour, attainment and attendance.

I assume if a kid is really bad then they get two tickets........
